What is MotoGP™?

MotoGP™ (Road Racing World Championship) is the premier 2 wheels race that started in 1949. It is currently divided into three categories: "MotoGP™", "Moto2™", and "Moto3™", where rising stars and legends alike compete fiercely aiming for the top of the world.

  MotoGP™ is an exhilarating motorcycle race where the world’s top Riders engage in fierce battles. The intense competition between world champions and promising newcomers, as well as the rivalry among manufacturers, is sure to excite even first-time spectators!

• 

  In 2025, there will be a total of 22 rounds, with the Grand Prix of Japan positioned as Round 17. Points are awarded based on race finishing positions, and the Rider who accumulates the most points throughout the year becomes the annual champion. The manufacturers also compete in rankings known as the "Constructor" and "Team Rankings."

  Breathtaking speeds and intense battles of overtaking and being overtaken are the highlights! Watch the Riders’ incredible skills as they tame monster machines approaching 350 km/h, with hard braking from top speeds and cornering while leaning the bike just inches from the ground!

• 

  The manufacturers participating in 2025 include Japanese teams such as Honda and Yamaha, as well as Italy's prestigious Ducati and Aprilia, and KTM based in Austria. Ultra-high-speed battles are fought with machines equipped with 1000cc maximum displacement 4-stroke reciprocating engines.

  Ai Ogura
  Trackhouse MotoGP™ Team

  The only Japanese rider competing full-time in the MotoGP™ class. Last season, he became the first Japanese champion in 15 years in the Moto2™ class, and this year is his rookie year in the MotoGP™ class. He won the Moto2™ class in 2022 and finished 2nd in 2024, showing a strong affinity for the Motegi circuit. With the support of his home crowd, expectations are high for his performance at this year’s Grand Prix of Japan.

  Ducati Lenovo Team

  The absolute king with six MotoGP™ class annual championships. This year as well, he is running away with the lead in the points ranking, far ahead of 2nd place and below. Especially in sprint races, he demonstrates unparalleled strength, and even now at 32 years old, his innate speed remains intact.

  Alex Marquez
  BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP™

  Younger brother of the absolute champion Marc Marquez. After 12 races this year, the brothers have secured 1st and 2nd place five times, showing their inherent strength remains intact. Will they achieve a double podium finish at this year’s Grand Prix of Japan as well?

  Aprilia Racing

  Last season's overall champion. In 2025, he transferred to Aprilia Racing aiming for his second championship title but struggled with a series of injuries. Attention is focused on whether he can regain his speed as a champion through mastering the machine and strengthening teamwork.

  Joan Mir
  Honda HRC Castrol

  He made his MotoGP™ class debut in 2019 and demonstrated his talent by bringing Suzuki a world championship at the young age of 23 in 2020. This year, as Honda’s ace, he is keenly aiming for his second championship title. Will he be able to showcase his inherent speed at the Grand Prix of Japan, the home race for his team?

  Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ Team

  Since his promotion to the MotoGP™ class, he has consistently ridden Yamaha machines. In 2021, he became the first Frenchman to achieve the long-cherished title of premier class champion. His performance is highly anticipated at the Grand Prix of Japan, the team's home race.

  A 21-year-old young genius Rider regarded as the next champion. He became champion in his first year in the Moto3™ class and also became the champion in his second year in the Moto2™ class, proving his speed beyond doubt.   The MotoGP™ Grand Prix of Japan will be held over three days: September 26 (Fri) practice sessions, 27 (Sat) qualifying/sprint race, and 28 (Sun) the main race. Advance tickets are valid for all three days, so they are recommended if you want to fully enjoy the race.
  Same-day tickets valid only on the purchase day are available for unreserved seating only, so please choose according to your visit schedule.

  You can choose any spot within the designated area to watch. Participation in “MotoGP™ Night Live” is also allowed.
  Experience the speed of machines racing at ultra-high speeds and the powerful engine sounds at “130R,” and enjoy the highlight of the “Downhill Straight,” where the highest speeds and slipstream battles create thrilling tactics.

  If you’re unsure, the Victory Stand (V Seat) is recommended!

  A viewing seat where you can watch the start/finish and the award ceremony. Enjoy the thrilling riding and sounds from the final corner’s exit to the braking at the first corner. The Hospitality Garden, equipped with food trucks and rest areas, is located next door, making it convenient to move to the stage and event areas.

  Admission and race viewing fees are free for those aged 16 to 23!
  Eligible are those born between April 2, 2002, and April 1, 2010.
