How to Enjoy the Superbike Race in Motegi

He is a Rider who has led the title battles for many years in the premier class of the All Japan Road Race, JSB1000, and is a representative figure of the series. He has won the overall championship 13 times in JSB1000, and claimed the title with a perfect winning record in 2021 and 2022.
In 2026, competing as the JSB1000 champion, he continues to race with the YAMAHA FACTORY RACING TEAM. As of the end of Round 3, he is ranked 3rd and secured pole position at Autopolis. In the finals, he finished on the podium in 2nd place in both Race 1 and Race 2, demonstrating the speed and consistency expected of a champion.
On the other hand, he has announced his retirement at the end of 2026, making the summer Motegi race an important event to witness his performance in his final season.

He is a Rider who has combined speed and aggressiveness while competing at the top level in JSB1000 in recent years. Despite being affected by injuries in 2025, he finished the season ranked 2nd overall, and in 2026 he has been accumulating victories since the season opener.
This season, as of the end of Round 3, he has achieved five consecutive wins from the start and is leading the rankings. At the August Motegi event, a major point of focus will be whether he can extend his lead toward winning the championship with Ducati and becoming his first JSB1000 champion.

A Rider who combines the perspective gained from experience in the World Championship with practical skills in the top domestic category. In addition to competing in Moto2™, he has also raced in the premier class of MotoGP™, accumulating knowledge gained from world-class environments throughout his career.
As of the end of Round 3 in the 2026 season, he is ranked 2nd. Competing in the top domestic class on DUNLOP tires, he has consistently placed high from the early part of the season and secured 3rd place podium finishes in both Race 1 and Race 2 at the Autopolis event. At the August Motegi event, he is attracting attention as a contender chasing Ryō Mizuno, who leads the annual rankings.

A Rider who has reached the pinnacle in the top domestic category and has also competed on the world stage. In addition to being the All Japan JSB1000 Champion, he has experience racing in WorldSBK, substitute appearances in MotoGP™, and participation in Moto2™, possessing a diverse range of skills honed in different environments.
As of the end of Round 3 in the 2026 season, he is ranked 4th overall. At the August Motegi event, the key point will be how far he can advance beyond the battle for the podium and contend for the victory.

This Rider has the experience of achieving results domestically before challenging the world stage and then returning to the highest domestic level. In addition to winning the ST1000 title in Japan, he became the series champion in the ASB1000 class of the FIM ASIA ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP (ARRC) in 2024. In 2025, he competed in Moto2™, gaining valuable experience through actual racing on the international stage.
The 2026 season marks a full-fledged participation in JSB1000, and as of the end of Round 3, the rider is ranked 5th. While deepening their understanding of the JSB1000 machine, the focus at the August Motegi event will be how close they can get to competing for the podium and even the victory.

This Rider has the experience of continuously competing at the highest level in Japan and the adaptability built up through many years of actual racing. They also have experience participating in MotoGP™ overseas, gaining practical experience in the world’s top racing environment.
In recent years, he has been involved as a Rider in SUZUKI’s “CN CHALLENGE” project using sustainable fuel, continuing to take on new challenges at race venues.
In 2026, he is also competing with Team SUZUKI CN CHALLENGE and is currently ranked 10th after Round 3. Based on the data and experience gained in the first half of the season, he aims to secure top points.
