"Open Mote tai" has [#21 SP3 & Anfini & Madoka Design], and "Mote tai Masters" has [#10 WITH ME RACING] securing the pole position!

2009 "Mote tai (Mote endurance)" July 19 (Sun) Official Qualifying Race Report In 2009, the season of Mote tai has arrived. On July 19 (Sun), the official qualifying took place, and the starting grid was determined by the combined times of the first and second riders with domestic licenses.

The rain that had been falling until morning stopped, and the time attack took place in high temperature and high humidity conditions.

In 2009, the schedule alternated sessions between "Mote tai Masters" and "Open Mote tai." Free practice began at 10 a.m., and the official qualifying for the first rider of "Mote tai Masters" started at noon.
The top position here was claimed by Akira Kaminaga of [#10 WITH ME RACING], who recorded a time of 2 minutes 01.120 seconds. Jun Funahashi of [#67 Riding Sports & Fire], who set his personal best time of 2 minutes 01.147 seconds on the checker lap, rose from fifth to second place. Yukihiro Sasaki of [#24 2rinkan RT & DFR], who had briefly held the top spot, was third with 2 minutes 01.277 seconds. Following them were Takahito Ueda of [#95 BOON! Companion!] with 2 minutes 01.289 seconds, and Takahito Kuga of [#2 2rinkan R.T] with 2 minutes 01.724 seconds, all marking times within the 2 minutes 01 seconds range.

After sessions for the 3rd and 4th riders, the time attack for the 2nd riders was also held. However, the top 5 rankings remained unchanged, with [#10 WITH ME RACING] securing the pole position for the "Mote tai Masters." However, the 2nd rider for [#10 WITH ME RACING], Hiroshi Maruyama, was involved in an accident at the hairpin, resulting in only one measured lap.
A notable topic is Tetsu Ukawa, who has also been active in MotoGP™ and holds the record for the most wins at the “Coca-Cola Zero” Suzuka 8 hours, entering from #30 RC30 & BLUE EYES. In the sessions for the 3rd and 4th riders, he marked a time of 2 minutes 00.901 seconds, showing a glimpse of his skill.

The qualifying session for the "Open Mote tai" with 76 bikes participating starts with the second rider's session in the schedule. The top position was secured by the first-time participant #21 SP3 & Amphini & Madoka Design, who earned pole position. Although the first rider, Takehiko Kurokawa from #705 Matsumoto Clinic Garage Speed, marked an incredible time of 2 minutes 22.300 seconds, it was not enough for the combined time, placing them in second. Following closely in third was #49 Motor Life Wingstone, fourth was #1 Bulldozer Tagos & Haru Man, fifth was #62 TEAM Utashiro & T Corps ★ Tachirin, and sixth was #23 Moto Clutch & WAKO'S.

Each team will check fuel efficiency, machines, and riding in preparation for the final race about a month later. The 'Mote tai Masters' will be held on August 22 (Sat), and the 'Open Mote tai' will be held on August 23 (Sun), each competing for 7 hours.
