On February 3, 2013, Hello! Project held its 15th anniversary live. The new unit was announced as part of the Hello! Pro trainees during the winter 2013 Fukuoka performance. The unit's name was chosen with the hope that they would always remain fresh and full of individuality, like "freshly picked," "just harvested," "fresh," "natural," "100%," and "freshly squeezed."
