The concept of having fun is the most important! The endurance race, Mote tai (Mote endurance) Enjoy endurance race "JOY TAI" gathered many entries and was held in 2019. The official qualifying on Saturday was in wet conditions. Although it rained until early Sunday morning, by the time the machines lined up on the grid, the rain had stopped, and as the intense sunlight poured through the clouds, the track dried rapidly and the temperature began to rise.
The race was divided into 2 groups and started as scheduled at 9:15 AM with a rolling start. The pole position starter, #75 ACELINES137EG, entered the first corner first, while #2 Wako's ED Nils K Dental overtook from the outside, followed by #57 Towa Intec Racing DC5, #82 Poor Man's R☆Lia☆DC5, and #6 Versus FIT, clearing the second corner. In the opening lap, #57 Towa Intec Racing DC5 was in the lead, closely followed by #2 Wako's ED Nils K Dental, and in the early stages of the race, these two cars were battling for the top position.
After that, the fuel-efficient machine took the lead in the first stint and moved up in position. At the point 1.5 hours after the start, #7 VersusRacingFIT was in 1st place. Following were #29 Cusco Gulf Minmo FITED, #78 SPM Komine Yoshizawa Process EP, #317 Life+U Roadster, and #111 AP☆MART Pop GEP82, all of which had not yet made their first pit stop. It stopped due to a mission trouble. As 3 hours approached, the fastest lap holder [#246 Yuki & PUTO DC5] stopped in the middle of the V corner. It was on gravel, but since it was close to the track, a safety car was introduced. This was the first time in 4 years at JOY TAI. During this time, many teams were refueling, and the refueling area was somewhat crowded.
Once the safety car is released, #78 SPM Komine Yoshizawa Process EP rises to the top for the first time. #129 Yomiuri Automobile University μ Toshiyuki EP82 follows in 2nd place with a gap of 32.454 seconds, securing a 1-2 finish for Class 2. After that, positions changed with the timing of pit stops, and the race approached its final stages.
With one hour remaining, [#57 Towa Intec Racing DC5] was in the lead, but shortly after, they made a pit stop. In their place, [#48 Wako's ED Nils Racing] took the lead, followed by [#7 Versus Racing FIT] in second and [#6 VERSUS FIT] in third, with Class FIT 1.5cc dominating the top positions. Although [#48 Wako's ED Nils Racing] was leading, they couldn't increase their pace, allowing [#7 Versus Racing FIT] to close the gap significantly. The difference was 12 seconds and 459 milliseconds at the end of lap 130, but by the end of lap 131, it was reduced to 6 seconds and 244 milliseconds, and by the end of lap 132, it was just 723 milliseconds. On the exit of the second corner on lap 133, [#7 Versus Racing FIT] overtook [#48 Wako's ED Nils Racing] to take the lead. After that, when [#48 Wako's ED Nils Racing] entered the pit, [#6 VERSUS FIT] moved up to second place. Subsequently, Higo Toshiyasu, who took on the last stint for [#7 Versus Racing FIT], showed a strong performance, updating the team best and maintaining the lead! They completed 151 laps and received the checkered flag in first place. Last year's winner, [#6 VERSUS FIT], finished in second place, achieving a 1-2 finish for the Versus Racing Project.

The 19th JOY TAI, where the #7 VersusRacingFIT achieved three refuels with fuel-efficient driving, resulted in victory.
