Born in 1957 in Kagoshima
In 1981, moved to the shore of Lake Shikaribetsu within Daisetsuzan National Park, where he designed and built an open-air hot spring bath on the ice, an ice bar, an ice museum, and more during winter. He was involved in the planning and operation of the Shikaribetsu Kotan.
1999 Participated as a nature utilization advisor for a new project at Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
2002 From summer, conducted the 'Gaki Taisho Forest Camp,' spending 30 nights and 31 days in nature.
Designed and built the 'Tower of Life,' which serves as a hideout and habitat for various insects and animals, and conducted 'Forest Creation Workshops' that incorporate programs for the restoration and conservation of satoyama forests together with general participants.
In April 2008, acted as a program leader for nature guidance by planning and producing the new facility Forest Zipline, Musasabi, which enables dynamic observation of the forest.
