A family trip on the weekend is a dreamlike and fun time for children. Energetic kids always want to keep playing. However, once dusk falls, there are surprisingly few activities for children to enjoy other than playing games or watching TV indoors. The "Forest Craft" program we are introducing this time is a unique program that allows you to enjoy those evening hours at "Mobility Resort Motegi."
Using natural materials harvested from the satoyama "Hello Woods" within Mobility Resort Motegi, this program offers a great opportunity to nurture children's creativity through various crafts.
No worries if you're not good at crafts!
The "Forest Craft" event is held every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) evening. Participation is limited to guests staying at the Mobility Resort Motegi Hotel or the Forest and Starry Sky Camping Village on the day of the event.
The event is divided into two parts, with the first part from 18:00 to 19:00 and the second part from 19:30 to 20:30, allowing you to choose a convenient time that fits your dinner schedule.
However, if you are staying at the Forest and Starry Sky Camping Village, please make sure to participate in the first part (18:00-19:00) to secure your dinner time.
The crafts made using natural materials change monthly. For example, in June, the crafts are "Bird Call" and "Formula Car".
The "Bird Call," which can produce sounds like the chirping of small birds, will allow you to enjoy the atmosphere of Hello Woods even after you return home. Perhaps, the sound will attract some small birds?
Take home memories of the forest!
And, the "Formula Car" filled with the essence of Mobility Resort Motegi, which is a representative circuit of Japan.
Children will be thrilled with the best "machine" that they can color to their liking.
One and only craft in the world
Don't worry if you're not good at crafting. The cast members at Hello Woods will kindly and carefully teach you how to make things.
Although the methods are the same, the materials are all unique natural materials, so you'll create a one-of-a-kind craft. Additionally, customization is possible, such as using differently shaped wood, allowing children to fully express their creativity.
The "Forest Craft" program is exclusive to those staying at Mobility Resort Motegi Hotel. The application deadline is 5 PM three days before the event, so if you want to participate on Saturday, make sure to contact us by 5 PM on Wednesday, and for Sunday, by 5 PM on Thursday.
Participation fees vary depending on the craft being made. For example, the "Bird Call" is 1,000 yen, and the "Formula Car" is 2,500 yen. Please note that the craft offerings change with the seasons, so check the official website for the latest information.
Also, children under elementary school age cannot participate alone, so a guardian aged 20 or older must accompany them.
Since the capacity is limited to 10 groups per session, we recommend making a reservation early if you're interested.
Creating things using natural materials that are hard to come by in the city is perfect for honing children's creativity.
