Weekend family trips are like a dream come true for children, full of fun and excitement. Energetic kids want to keep playing forever. However, once dusk passes, there are surprisingly few activities for children to enjoy besides playing games or watching TV in their rooms. The "Forest Craft" program we introduce this time is a unique offering at Mobility Resort Motegi that lets children enjoy their evenings as well.
This program, which uses natural materials harvested from the satoyama "Hello Woods" within Mobility Resort Motegi to create various crafts, is an excellent opportunity to nurture children's creativity.
No worries if you're not good at crafts!
"Forest Craft" is held on weekend nights (Sat and Sun). Participation is limited to guests staying on the day at either the Mobility Resort Motegi Hotel or the Forest and Starry Sky Camping Village, making it an exclusive program for overnight guests.
The event is divided into two sessions: the first session is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the second session is from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., so you can choose a time that suits your dinner schedule.
However, if you are staying at the Forest and Starry Sky Camping Village, please participate in the first session (6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) to ensure you have time for dinner.
The crafts made using natural materials change each month. For example, in June, they are "Bird Call" and "Formula Car."
The "Bird Call," which can produce sounds like a chirping bird, allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of the Hello Woods forest even after returning home. Perhaps, the sound might even attract real birds?

And the "Formula Car," filled with the essence of Mobility Resort Motegi, a circuit that represents Japan.

One and only craft in the world
Even if you’re not good at crafts, there’s no need to worry. The Hello Woods cast will kindly and carefully teach you how to make them.
Although the method is the same, the natural materials used are unique, so each craft is one of a kind in the world. Additionally, customization is possible, such as using wood of different shapes, allowing children to fully express their creativity, which is another great appeal.
The "Forest Craft" is an exclusive program for guests staying at the Mobility Resort Motegi Hotel. The application deadline is by 5 PM three days before the event, so if you plan to participate on Saturday, please contact us by 5 PM on Wednesday, and if on Sunday, by 5 PM on Thursday.
Participation fees vary depending on the craft you make. For example, the "Bird Call" costs 1,000 yen, and the "Formula Car" costs 2,500 yen. By the way, the craft offerings change with the seasons, so please check the official website for the latest information.
Also, children in elementary school or younger cannot participate alone, so it is necessary for a guardian aged 20 or older to accompany them, so please be aware of this.
The capacity is 10 groups per session, so if you are interested, we recommend making a reservation early.
