Two Passions, One Dream
―Honda and Yamaha's respective WGP challenges―

Commemorating the MotoGP™ TrialGP of Japan: Honda and Yamaha Collaboration Exhibition Part 1
In conjunction with the MotoGP™ event, we will introduce the history of Honda and Yamaha's challenges in the World Championship over multiple years starting this year.

In this inaugural year, we look back on the “Journey of Challenges to the World” by Honda and Yamaha, who first conquered the Road Racing World Championship (hereafter WGP) in the 1960s and continue to challenge in MotoGP™ today. Both companies achieved victories in the WGP during the 1960s and have since earned numerous honors. Honda aimed for the world’s pinnacle through high-revving, high-output development of four-stroke engines, while Yamaha pursued the potential of two-stroke engines amid the dominance of four-stroke engines, each taking a different approach to reach the top of the world.

This exhibition features representative WGP racers from the 1960s by Honda and Yamaha, as well as the latest MotoGP™ championship machines. From next year onward, we plan to introduce a series showcasing the ongoing challenges of these two domestic 2 wheels manufacturers up to the present. Please be sure to take a look.

―Ingenuity Packed into Small Models―

We are holding the second installment of the highly popular "TOMICA × Honda Collaboration Exhibition" from last year!
This time, Honda vehicles represented by different TOMICA models than last year will be displayed in a special space inspired by TOMICA packaging. In addition to the exhibited vehicles, many Honda TOMICA models with open doors and hoods will also be on display, so please compare the real car’s impressive presence with the intricate craftsmanship of TOMICA. Also, an AR-based special exhibition limited design "TOMICA Photo Spot" will appear in the exhibition hall! You can take special commemorative photos available only here.

Furthermore, on the first floor in the library, TOMICA work vehicles equipped with various gimmicks will also be on display. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the world of TOMICA × Honda with your whole family.

We are exhibiting two first-generation CIVIC RS cars, “#1 Sunset” and “#176 Madrid,” which Honda Gakuen students personally restored and successfully completed the 28th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique. Through the actual cars and video footage, we introduce the skills and passion of the students who supported this approximately 2,200 km challenge and their journey.

JDM × Honda: The Fusion of Car Culture and Honda MM Philosophy

Special Exhibition Exploring JDM Culture through Honda Cars
A special exhibition that unravels the relationship between JDM (Japan Domestic Market), which has become a global car culture, and Honda cars from the perspective of Honda’s fundamental car-making philosophy, the “MM Philosophy.” Three Honda cars from the late 1980s to early 1990s, which remain popular in the contemporary JDM scene, are on display. Please take a look at a part of how Honda’s car-making has fused with street car culture.
