Notice of Cancellation of the Postponed Round 1

Thank you very much for your continued participation in the Motegi Short Course Championship.

Regarding Round 1, which was postponed due to snowfall (originally scheduled for March 9), we had planned to hold it on December 21 (Sun). However, after receiving numerous concerns about safety related to holding the event in winter and conducting careful internal discussions, we regret to inform you that the event has been cancelled.

We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience caused to everyone who was considering participating. For those who have already paid the entry fee, please check the refund procedure in the official notice No.4 (PDF: 325KB) available here.

Motegi Short Course Championship

A mini bike race series held over 5 rounds annually at the North Short Course.

Each event (one day) features both sprint races and endurance races.

CLASS Class Schedule

  • SP・NSF100SP

    Mixed class with modified vehicles with a displacement of 50cc and 2-stroke transmission and HRC-made 4-stroke mini bike racer "NSF100" with wheel diameter of 12-17 inches.

  • NSF100 HRC Trophy

    One-make class featuring the HRC-made 4-stroke mini bike racer "NSF100"

  • HRC GROM Cup Advance Class

    One-make class featuring the HRC-made race-only production racer "HRC GROM"
    Tires are DUNLOP one-make
    The Advance Class is an advanced class for Riders who exceed the standard lap time of 49 seconds

  • HRC GROM Cup Rookie Class

    One-make class featuring the HRC-made race-only production racer "HRC GROM"
    Tires are DUNLOP one-make
    The Rookie Class is an introductory class for Riders who have lap times below the standard lap time of 49 seconds

  • Challenge Expert

    Challenge class with a specified lap time exceeding 48 seconds
    Class for vehicles equipped with a 50cc 2-stroke or 100cc 4-stroke engine with a transmission
    The combination of frame and engine is not restricted as long as the engine can be mounted without modification to the manufacturer-shipped frame, such as without processing stays

  • Challenge 48

    Challenge class with a standard lap time of 48 seconds
    Class for vehicles equipped with a 50cc 2-stroke or 100cc 4-stroke engine with a transmission
    The combination of frame and engine is not restricted as long as the engine can be mounted without modification to the manufacturer-shipped frame, such as without processing stays

  • Challenge 50

    Challenge class with a specified lap time of 50 seconds
    Class for vehicles equipped with a 50cc 2-stroke or 100cc 4-stroke engine with a transmission
    The combination of frame and engine is not restricted as long as the engine can be mounted without modification to the manufacturer-shipped frame, such as without processing stays

  • Challenge 52

    Challenge class with a standard lap time of 52 seconds
    Class for vehicles equipped with a 50cc 2-stroke or 100cc 4-stroke engine with a transmission
    The combination of frame and engine is not restricted as long as the engine can be mounted without modification to the manufacturer-shipped frame, such as without processing stays

  • 48 Hours Endurance

    90-minute endurance class with a regulated lap time of 48 seconds
    Vehicle regulations are the same as the Challenge class, and up to the 3rd Rider can be registered

  • 49 Hours Endurance

    90-minute endurance class with a specified lap time of 49 seconds
    Vehicle regulations are the same as the Challenge class, and up to the 3rd Rider can be registered

  • GROM Cup Endurance

    90-minute endurance class using the HRC-manufactured competition-only production racer "HRC GROM"
    Vehicle regulations are the same as the HRC GROM Cup, and up to the 3rd Rider can be registered

  • TAN (Solo Endurance)

    90-minute endurance class with only one registered Rider
    Vehicle regulations are the same as the Challenge class, with two mandatory 15-minute pit stops
