Concept of "K-TAI"

Concept of "K-TAI"

"K-TAI" held since 2001

Initially, various types of karts, including those with transmissions and centrifugal clutches, were used. However, to make karting more accessible, four-stroke sports karts were introduced in 2007, and from 2010, events were held exclusively with four-stroke sports karts. In 2021, a new class using electric motors was established. The class structure allows for enjoyment from beginners to advanced users.

Regarding the regulations, by setting limits on the amount of fuel for each refueling and requiring a stay in the pit, not only do fast karts win, but pit strategies also come into play, adding to the unique enjoyment of endurance racing.
Additionally, vehicles that stop on the course during the race can be retrieved by the pit crew, allowing for a restart and continuation of the race, which is an original element of "K-TAI" aimed at reaching the checkered flag until the end.

Participants can join from the age of 10, and there are teams that include three generations, from grandparents to grandchildren...

The Enjoy 7-Hour Endurance Race is confirmed to be held on August 4, 2024 (Sun)!
