Let's enjoy KART together
"K-TAI" held since 2001
Initially, various types of karts, including those with transmissions and centrifugal clutches, were used. However, to make karting more accessible, four-stroke sports karts were introduced in 2007, and from 2010, events were held exclusively with four-stroke sports karts. In 2021, a new class using electric motors was established. The class structure allows for enjoyment from beginners to advanced users.
Regarding the regulations, by setting limits on the amount of fuel per refueling and requiring pit stops, not only do fast karts win, but pit strategies also come into play, adding the unique enjoyment of endurance racing.
Additionally, an original element of “K-TAI” is that vehicles stopped on the course during the race can be retrieved by the pit crew and restarted to continue racing, aiming to reach the checkered flag until the very end.
Participants can join from the age of 10, and there are teams that include three generations, from grandparents to grandchildren...
The Enjoy 7-Hour Endurance Race is scheduled for September 7, 2025 (Sun)!
Let's all enjoy KART together again in 2025!
This is a 7-hour endurance event held on the 4.8013 km Mobility Resort Motegi Racing Course using 4-cycle engine karts.
Since 2021, electric kart classes have been introduced, and in 2022, a class using biofuel karts was also established.
This is an easy-to-join karting event that does not require a competition license.
