"JOY TAI" is a JAF certified 4 wheels endurance race held at Mobility Resort Motegi, using box cars and following unique rules. It features a wide variety of eligible vehicles, making participation accessible to many. Other characteristics include the requirement for general tires, and vehicles that stop on the course can be retrieved by officials (*) and can return to the race afterward, making it a race that beginners can participate in with confidence. Every year, we welcome many first-time drivers, and each team enjoys the event with their families and friends. Please enthusiastically participate in the annual box car racing festival, the "Motegi Enjoy Endurance Race 'JOY TAI'".

"JOY TAI" includes various groups such as friends from school or work, family, and car enthusiasts. Enjoy a genuine JAF-approved race with your fun companions.
Possession of a valid 2024 JAF participant permit.

From May 18 (Sat) 10:00 to June 2 (Sun) 10:00 is the entry acceptance period.

Participation fees vary depending on the number of drivers and the number of MCoM or SMSC license holders.

What is an MCoM Member?
MCoM is a membership system established for those who use the courses at Mobility Resort Motegi.
What is an SMSC member?
SMSC (Suzuka Motorsports Club) is a membership program established for those who wish to use the courses at Suzuka Circuit.
If you do not have experience participating in JAF-sanctioned races, you will need to record a lap time of under 3 minutes during the practice session. We encourage you to participate.
We will send the acceptance letter in late June, so please check to ensure there are no discrepancies in the content.
Additionally, there may be important announcements regarding the tournament included, so the representative should check all documents.
First, please check the participation acceptance document to ensure there are no deficiencies. Then, bring the necessary items for participation registration, such as licenses and stamps, as well as tools needed for vehicle maintenance. Please be careful not to forget items that the pit crew may use, such as raincoats, stopwatches, and goggles for refueling.
Additionally, we recommend registration and vehicle inspection on Friday in case you are unable to pass the vehicle inspection.
After completing the reception and vehicle inspection, you will finally participate in the 7-hour endurance race after receiving a briefing on the course.
We hope you enjoy the race with your friends and family, aiming to finish the race.
Participants must hold a valid 2024 JAF participant permit.
However, this does not apply if the driver is also a participant.
All drivers must possess a valid driver's license and
hold a JAF domestic driving competition permit A or higher.
All registered drivers must meet one of the following conditions by July 5, 2024 (Fri).
If a driver under the age of 18 participates, a parental consent signature and a seal registration certificate (valid within 3 months) must be submitted with the application.
Since 2012, "JOY TAI" has been changed to 10 classes, and in 2024 it will be held with 10 classes.
Please check the applicable classes based on the vehicle's displacement and the vehicles that can participate.
Equip with radial tires that are generally sold and listed in the catalog of tire manufacturers for domestic retail products in Japan.
