A new "JOY TAI" begins with vehicles that have numbers.
At Mobility Resort Motegi, we have been hosting the 7-hour endurance race "Motegi Enjoy Endurance Race 'JOY TAI'" and the 120-minute endurance race "Motegi Enjoy Mini Endurance Race 'Mini JOY TAI'" as participatory endurance race events for everyone to enjoy. In 2023, we are excited to introduce a new 3-hour endurance race called "Motegi JOY TAI Challenge," using numbered registered vehicles (vehicles with automobile registration plates) as a participatory endurance race for even more people to enjoy!
Regarding the regulations for participating vehicles, based on the JAF domestic competition vehicle regulations, vehicles equipped with a 6-point roll cage and 4-point or more safety belts can participate widely with various types of vehicles, and it is also possible to participate using some existing numbered one-make vehicles.
Eligibility is for those who hold a JAF domestic driver's license A or higher, similar to the original "JOY TAI", and participation is possible with a maximum of 3 people. Participating vehicles can also include numbered vehicles (vehicles that comply with the regulations for races set forth in Article 2 of the JAF's automobile registration number standard), allowing for participation with a modification level that is more accessible than racing cars. The 3-hour race duration makes it a beginner endurance race and a stepping stone for those aiming to participate in "JOY TAI", allowing you to enjoy an "easy", "accessible", and "exciting" endurance race with friends and companions.
※ The waiting area during the period will be the 2nd paddock (outdoors). (Please bring tents, etc. by the team)
※ During the race (while running), the area in front of the pit will be designated as a maintenance area for use.
