Makoto Wada (Cast Leader)
WadamakotoI was born and raised in a similar environment in the neighboring town of Motegi, with forests, rivers, and fields. At Hello Woods, we are working to preserve this familiar and rich Satoyama environment that we have grown up with since childhood, for future generations. We hope to share the joy of exploring the forest and camping while experiencing the seasonal changes of the diverse flora and fauna that are nurtured through activities such as mowing, thinning, and logging.

Kenichi Ishimatsu
Kenichi IshimatsuBorn and raised in Tokyo. "Nature and living things are so interesting, I want to know more and more" was something I became aware of as an adult. The more I learn, the more I discover unknown and mysterious things, which is the charm of nature. Every time I encounter such new stimulation, my heart is moved again, and it is an exciting daily life. In the exciting forest, I want to create a daily life where I move my mind and body a lot with everyone.

Inomata RunaBorn in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. At Hello Woods Field, you can feel the presence of wild animals such as nature and musasabi, and feel the charm of nature. Please experience a lot of excitement in this Hello Woods, such as searching for insects and encountering plants that you have never seen before. And I hope to share the charm of nature with all of you.

Eiji Okuyama
Eiji OkuyamaRepresentative of the Japan Wildlife Research Institute, naturalist, and illustrator. Born in Tokyo in 1962. Currently residing in Nerima Ward. With the motto "You won't know until you touch it!", they convey the fascination of nature and observing living creatures. Active in various fields such as lecturing at nature events, serializing in magazines, and supervising TV programs. Serializes articles about living creatures in magazines such as "B-Pal" (Shogakukan). Books they have illustrated include "Let's Play by the Water" and "Let's Play in the Satoyama" (both published by Nōbunkyō), and "Playing with Insects for 12 Months" (Deco).

Yoshiharu KagoWhen I was a child, I used to catch bugs in the mountains and rice fields of Hokkaido, and explore caves in abandoned coal mines until the sun went down. I was so engrossed in playing that I didn't even notice the time passing. I came to Motegi because I wanted to feel closer to nature. Motegi has a different charm of nature compared to Hokkaido. As someone who is not from here, I want to share the beauty of Motegi's nature with many people and continue to enjoy a natural lifestyle. Let's talk about living in nature and share fun times in the woods at Hello Woods.

kuromori honokaDuring my student days, I was drawn to the rich nature of Motegi and have studied the beasts and birds of this forest. The forest of Hello Woods, which changes its expression every moment, always provides us with new questions and insights. For example, trees, the ground, waterside, the sky... if you observe closely, you can see that life is thriving everywhere. The feelings, thoughts, and discoveries I experienced through encounters with such lives will surely become wonderful memories.
