Vintage and classic motorcycles from the 1960s and 70s that have been preserved and restored
gather at Mobility Resort Motegi for an event that tells the story of the good old days in modern times,
Good Old Days Motegi. The opportunity to see particularly rare machines racing on the MotoGP™ course as a special event
is also a major attraction.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the birth of the CB400FOUR, we will hold a 'CB400FOUR 50th Anniversary Meeting' and a 'CB400FOUR Vehicle Exhibition' themed around the CB400FOUR, as well as a 'CB400FOUR Talk Show' featuring those involved in its creation.

Former Honda R&D CB400F Development Project, Body Design PL
Since joining the company, he has focused solely on design, took charge of the inline-4 series development, engaged in the development of the CB400F, and collaborated with Sankei Giken Kogyo to complete the 4-into-1 exhaust system.
Hiroshi Nakano (Nakano Hiroshi)
Former member of the Honda Technical Research Institute Modeling Department, CB400F Development Project.
Assigned to the Hamamatsu Factory, involved in the development stages of the CB350F and CB400F at the material stage before the clay model, and personally carried out the design and cutting of the CB400F engine fins in particular.
Yoshifumi Sekiguchi
Former Executive Managing Officer and General Manager of Production Headquarters, Sankei Giken Co., Ltd.
Engaged in manufacturing Honda 2 wheels exhaust mufflers, and since 2023 has led and completed the project to revive the genuine exhaust system of the CB400FOUR.

Author of "Philosophizing the Honda Dream CB400FOUR/CB400F – Exploring the Source of Its Appeal"
He has long analyzed and researched the CB400F based on various materials, writing with the CB400F as his theme. He belongs to CB400F owners clubs in Tokyo and Kyushu and directed this talk show.

Free running: West Course (1.5 km) 15 minutes × 1 session, Full Course (4.8 km) 20 minutes × 1 session
Road-type and racer-type motorcycles manufactured before 1983.
Vehicles that comply with the event's purpose and are equipped with original or original-like parts from the time of manufacture.
Vehicles that deviate significantly from the original shape cannot participate. To prevent liquid leakage, a catch tank must be installed, and wire locks must be applied to the oil drain bolt, filler cap, etc. The side stand and center stand must be removed.
Numbers must be attached in three places: the front and both sides.
The vehicle number will be designated by the organizer. Priority will be given to those who have participated previously (the number will expire if there has been no participation for three years) (my number, jersey number system).
Only vehicles that are well-maintained and equipped to avoid inconveniencing other participants may run.

To prevent large speed differences, we classify by model year, vehicle type, engine displacement, etc. There may be adjustments depending on the number of vehicles and traffic conditions.

Holders of a small or larger motorcycle license
Full face helmet (MFJ certified), racing suit (MFJ certified made of leather or material with equivalent strength), spinal pad, chest guard (recommended), leather gloves, leather shoes, airbag protection for 2 wheels (Riders aged 23 to 54 are exempt from wearing airbag protection on the event day.)
