1day GET MFJ License

'1day GET MFJ License' is a program that allows you to obtain both the 'Circuit License' and the 'MFJ Road Race Domestic License' in one day.

The MFJ Road Race Domestic License course and the MCoM Member (Circuit License) practical training will be conducted simultaneously.
Normally, obtaining a domestic license requires several visits to the circuit for performance applications and takes a considerable amount of time. However, if you pass both the written and practical exams in this program, Mobility Resort Motegi will handle the issuance procedures for the 'MFJ Road Race Domestic License' on your behalf and support you until you obtain it. Those who are already MCoM Members can acquire the 'MFJ Road Race Domestic License' in the shortest possible time.

Since this involves actual riding, please check in advance the equipment (*1) and the specifications of the participating vehicle.
*1: Airbag-type protection for 2 wheels is required for those under 18 and over 55 years old.

Flow of the Day

Morning
We will conduct classroom training focusing on rules, regulations, and manners.
  1. Registration
    Please bring the necessary documents and come to the registration venue.
  2. Opening Ceremony
    I will explain the flow of the day
  3. MFJ Domestic Competition Rules Seminar
    You will take the classroom training required to obtain an MFJ license.
  4. Written Exam
    This will test what you learned in the classroom training (results will be announced after completion)　
  5. Lunch
    We have prepared bento and drinks.
Afternoon
The focus will be on practical driving. You will engage in practical driving to apply what you learned in the morning lecture.
  1. Pre-ride briefing
    We will conduct a briefing to confirm riding posture, riding rules, etc.
  2. Practical Driving
    Practical driving will be conducted on the Racing Course (full course)
    Lead Ride → Swap Lead Ride → Free Ride (20 minutes) × 3 sessions
  3. Results Announcement & Closing Ceremony

    Program day

    Prepare your equipment and vehicle, and head to Mobility Resort Motegi. Entry is allowed from 5 a.m.
    *The validity period for MCoM Members is one year from the date of enrollment.
    *At the time of participation registration, we will confirm your desire to obtain the MFJ affiliated license and your current license status, and settle participation fees and application costs using the registered credit card.

    MFJ License Acquisition

    The license will be mailed from MFJ to the registered address.
    * The MFJ license is valid until the end of March of the following year.

Eligibility

  • Holders of a Small Motorcycle License
  • Minors will need a letter of consent from their guardians and a seal registration certificate.

MFJ License

You can additionally obtain the 'Pit Crew B' license through this program. (Additional fee: 1,500 yen)
* Pit Crew B is a license required when registering as a pit crew for participation in MFJ-sanctioned races.

Motegi Enjoy A-License

"Motegi Enjoy A-License" is held as a program that allows customers who are about to participate in motorsports competitions to obtain the JAF Domestic A License in one day.

Overview

This program completes the five requirements necessary to obtain the Domestic A License in just one day.
If you pass the written exam and the driving practical test, you will meet the conditions to obtain the 'Domestic A License'.
* The application for the 'Domestic A License' must be submitted by the customer themselves via the internet.

Flow of the Day

We will conduct classroom training focusing on rules, regulations, and manners.
  1. Registration
    Please bring the necessary documents and come to the registration venue.
  2. Sports Driving Reservation (25 minutes × 2 sessions)
    Only those without experience in Gymkhana or Sports Driving may participate
  3. Opening Ceremony
    I will explain the flow of the day
  4. JAF Class A License Course
    Attend the classroom lecture necessary to obtain the license
  5. Lunch
    Free meal
Afternoon
There will be a written test on what was learned in the morning lecture, as well as practical training and a practical exam.
  1. Written Exam
    This will test what you learned in the classroom training (results will be announced after completion)　
  2. Racing Course
    Learn the mindset for racing and how to drive on the Racing Course.
  3. Practical Driving
    Follow the instructor’s lead car and learn how to enter the pit while actually driving.
  4. Practical Exam
    The practical driving test will be conducted on the Racing Course (full course).
  5. Results Announcement & Closing Ceremony
* Only those with driving experience for item 2 may participate optionally. Everyone else must participate.

The participation fee for the Motegi Enjoy A-License varies depending on the conditions of the participants.
The fee includes "Certified circuit sports driving record," "JAF Domestic A License workshop," and "JAF Motorsports Yearbook and other materials."

License Acquisition Requirements

You can obtain a domestic A license by attending the domestic A license seminar, taking the exam, and passing it.
You must meet one of the following conditions within 24 months prior to attending the seminar.

(1) Those who hold a valid domestic B license:
  • a) Participate in rally, Gymkhana, dirt trial, circuit trial, etc. at least once and complete the race.
  • b) Have at least 25 minutes of sports driving experience at each certified circuit and be able to obtain proof from the certified circuit.
(2) Those who do not hold a domestic B license:
・Have at least 50 minutes of sports driving experience at each certified circuit and be able to obtain proof from the certified circuit.

The curriculum of the seminar consists of lectures and written exams on various regulations, as well as practical driving tests.

Bringing the rulebook is allowed for the written exam. The practical driving test is not about technique but rather to check if you understand circuit driving manners and flag signals.
* Two 25-minute sports driving sessions exclusive to seminar participants are scheduled in the morning.

Other Information

  • If you do not pass, you will not be able to obtain the license. Additionally, the course fee will not be refunded, so thank you for your understanding.
  • If you have a driving record of 50 minutes or more at a JAF certified circuit other than Mobility Resort Motegi, please bring the driving record certificate for that circuit on the day.

* On the day, a time slot for Sports Driving Reservation to obtain the license is set. Those with driving experience do not need to drive. However, if you wish to drive, an additional fee of 5,500 yen per 25 minutes per session is required.
* The course fee does not include the cost of lunch. (Please use the on-site restaurants for lunch.)

Certified Referee
(Official License) Application

This license is required when serving as competition officials (Officials) such as referees or vehicle inspectors at competitions.
First, you obtain the B3 grade, and then you can apply for a new Grade 3 license to assist certified referees at certified competitions (including closed competitions).
You will accumulate experience and step up while taking advanced exams.
Licenses are divided into the following types.

Course Course officials, signal officials, start judges, track judges
Timing Timing officials, departure signal officials, final judges
Technology Technical Committee, Vehicle Inspector, Supply Inspector

The permit fee is 3,100 yen (including tax) per item, and if you wish to obtain more than two types, an additional fee of 500 yen (including tax) will apply for each additional item.
