ABOUT What is the Honda Eco Mileage Challenge?

"Honda Eco Mileage Challenge" competes not in speed, but in the fuel efficiency performance of the machine.

Based on the Honda 4-stroke engine,
how many kilometers can you travel on 1 liter of gasoline?
A place for challenging infinite possibilities and competing with original ideas and technology.

Drivers of 15 years and older are all welcome.
Teams of 5 people (6 for 2-seater class) from school or workplace come together to challenge their dreams.
That's the secret to the popularity of the Honda Eco Mileage Challenge.

    Honda Eco Mileage Challenge 2025

    Held on June 21, 2025 (Sat)

    This competition will be held in accordance with the Honda Eco Mileage Challenge National Tournament Regulations, and participants will use competition vehicles produced in accordance with these rules to run the designated course within the specified time and measure their fuel efficiency. Rankings will be determined from the team with the lowest fuel consumption.

CLASS Group Category

  • CN Class

    This is a class that uses carbon neutral fuel instead of gasoline.

  • Group I (Junior High School Class)

    This is a class for those who are enrolled in junior high school.
    The team manager will be a teacher, and the team members, including the driver, will be students enrolled in the same school.

  • Group II (High School Class)

    This is a class for students enrolled in high school.
    The team manager will be a teacher, and the team members including the driver will be students enrolled in the same school.

  • Group III (University, Junior College, Technical College,
    Specialized School Students)

    This is a class for students enrolled in universities, junior colleges, technical colleges, and vocational schools.
    The team manager must be a faculty member or a student over 18 years old, and the team members, including the driver, must be enrolled in the same school.

  • Group IV (General Class)

    This is a class for general participants.
    You can participate with your family, friends, or colleagues from work.

  • New Challenge Class

    This is a class where you can participate with original vehicles equipped with Honda 4-stroke engines of 50cc or more and 150cc or less.
    Anyone, including students and adults, can participate.

  • Motorcycle Class

    This is a class that can participate with commercially available two-wheeled vehicles equipped with a Honda 4-stroke 50cc engine.

  • Two-seater class

    This is a class where two people can ride using vehicles with two separate seats.
